Face Shields and Masks Available for Local Small Business Owners

We have recently acquired a small number of face shields and disposable face masks (3-PLY Non sterile, 50 pcs/pack). The face masks are made with non-woven fabric, and they are moisture-proof and breathable, with elastic ear bands and easy to wear and comfort. Face shields (2 pcs/pack) have anti-fog treatment on both sides of the shield, it can be used to prevent fluid splashing or dust. It has foam headband which help release pressure.

They are now available for Springfield area small business owners to purchase in order to soon re-start business operations and protect employees. Only small quantities are available, first come first served! For purchase information and availability, please email: brian@sangamonwatches.com.

Note: The face shields and disposable masks are designed for personal use in non-medical settings. They may provide some benefit to health care providers and the general public, however they are not intended for anyone who have direct contact with Covid-19 patients.

Is Illinois Quarantine Coming to an End?

Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker’s stay-at-home order has been extended through end of April. The governor, through the Illinois Department of Public Health, has “supreme authority” to declare and enforce quarantine or isolation.

Governor J. B. Pritzker made very clear that health experts don’t really know when the peak in cases will come, how long it will last and what happens after that. The April 30 date for the stay-at-home order is an educated guess based on science, modeling of the Covid-19 virus’ growth and experts’ advice, he said.

As more Illinoisans continue to be infected by Covid-19 mainly in Chicago area, it is very likely another shorter extension will be declared at the end of April.
