Register for APL (Animal Protective League in Springfield) annual Donuts and Dogs 5K Fun Run on June 4 to benefit the lifesaving work and the animals of the Animal Protective League! Join us June 4th at Southwind Park. Registration is $30 for adults and $15 for children under 12.  Registration includes a special race t-shirt! Sangamon Watch Company is one of the event sponsors.

You can race as an individual, a family or create a team and fundraise together! Bring your sociable, well-behaved dog (must be up-to-date on all vaccinations, have proof of a current rabies vaccine and be at least four months of age). This year’s race includes a timed run and a fun run/walk.

Don’t want to race but still want to be involved? You can become a Fundraiser and help to raise money to support our animals without breaking a sweat!  If you want to participate in the run but don’t leave here in town you can participate virtually!  We have special prizes for the fastest virtual time and the farthest run from the shelter.
