A popular Route 66 event for classic car lovers is returning once again to Springfield Illinois after the cancellation in 2020 due to the pandemic. The International Route 66 Mother Road Festival was a great success in Downtown Springfield Sept. 24-26. The three day festival was packed with hundreds of amazing cars, people from all over the country, certainly yummy food and live music!

Sangamon Watch Company is planning to open a downtown showroom at 206 South 6th Street in Springfield Illinois this mid-October. The showroom is located right across from Lincoln Herndon Law Office (Springfield Visitors Center). and Old State Capitol. Sangamon Watch Company is going to launch its first brick and mortar showroom and retail service in downtown Springfield Illinois. The showroom will be located at 206 South 6th Street in downtown Springfield Illinois, right across from Lincoln Law Office (Springfield Visitors Center) and Old State Capitol, two blocks south of Lincoln Presidential Museum and Library. The showroom will offer products on-site and interact with customers face-to-face.
The new showroom is scheduled to open on October 15, 2021 and it will also serve as an information center for international tourists and Route 66 travelers.
