I love downtown Springfield Illinois, it always reminds me the good years of 1996-1998 I worked in DCFS and the State Capitol. Then the streets were always packed with state workers and tourists during lunch hours.

There are not many tourists now, the streets are quiet, but it is till a nice place for having a cup of coffee and bagel at Custom Cup, buying a jar of tea from Whimsy Tea shop, grabbing a wonderful lunch with friends at Cafe Moxo, or even getting a new tattoo at Good Heart Tattoos. Today is very windy and cloudy, but not too bad for a photo session.
