Sangamon Watches is named after the river that runs through our region. Our first watch is inspired by Abraham Lincoln’s adventures on the Sangamon River in 1831. Lincoln was inspired to build a flatboat and launch one of his first ventures that propelled his life in ways he never could have imagined.

Every Sangamon watch is hand assembled in limited quantities and based on a special inspirational story. “Lincoln’s River Collection” is inspired by Abraham Lincoln who faced many challenges during his life but persistently looked for New Beginnings in order to succeed.
